Construction Accounting Workflow
2 days - $495 per day
February 20-21, April 23-24, June 25-26, August 20-21, October 22-23
This class discusses workflow for users to understand routine processing tasks in each of the four core modules: Job Cost, General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Payroll, using a combination of lecture, discussion, and hands-on activities with Sage Timberline Office training materials. Please note all classes are taught using sample company data.
Project Management
2 days - $495 per day
February 6-7, April 9-10, June 11-12, August 6-7, October 8-9
You know the challenges of tracking hundreds of project–related documents, drawings, correspondence, and meeting notes. Find out how to use Project Management to efficiently keep track of all of your documentation and correspondence in one easy-to-use database. Learn how to use each feature, and activities with step-by-step instructions to give you hands-on experience with each document type and log.
On day 2 learn to use the Project Management features that track project changes and contract changes, so that you have up-to-date billing, contract, and profitability information at every stage of your projects, without waiting for paper to flow from one department to another. The authorized training curriculum for this class includes hands-on experience with contracts, change requests, change orders, commitments, commitment change orders, and contract-based invoices.
Accounts Receivable, Contracts & Billing Workflow

This course provides training for implementing and using the Sage Timberline Accounts Receivable, Contracts and Billing applications. Focusing on workflow, you'll apply and test what you've learned through actual hands-on activities. Recommended attendees are accounting managers or implementation coordinators who are authorized to make decisions for your company as well as people responsible for daily operations.
Beginning Report Designer

This class covers the basics of report design with the emphasis on the report writer section. It is designed for the individual who has actually used the software for some period of time and has a basic understanding of how the data is entered and where it is stored. This class begins with a discussion of Sage Timberline Office architecture and report planning. You'll learn how to design your own reports and modify reports included with your software. It will teach the data structure, storage and retrieval options; proper report design and layout techniques; editing; and presentation capabilities.
Beginning Crystal Report Designer

This beginner's class teaches you how to use these powerful tools. Using a combination of lecture and hands-on activities, you'll learn design basics for the Sage Timberline Crystal Report Designer. The Crystal Designer begins with a discussion of Timberline architecture and report planning. You'll learn how to design and modify reports included with your software. You'll cover the planning and designing, data relationships, sorting and grouping, formulas, and formatting fields and sections along with dropping in your company logo.
