Document Management
Sage Timberline Office Document Management will enable users to automatically index, archive, retrieve, and distribute all documents, based on document type or even page content. Instant search capabilities will allow retrieval and assembly of documents in any desired configuration, such as all change orders, invoices, and other documents related to a particular job or property. Any document that can be printed or scanned can be stored in the “DocuVault™,” a database of highly compressed, highly searchable electronic document images.
Plus, as part of the fully integrated Sage Timberline Office suite, Document Management will enable users to easily index or tag documents with real-time Sage Timberline Office data, such as jobs, properties, projects, cost codes, vendors, GL account numbers, and the like. Users can then employ these indexes to search and retrieve the electronic images they’re looking for.
“Clearly, construction and real estate professionals are discovering the huge efficiencies and time savings gained through an electronic document management and delivery system,” said Sage Timberline Office president and general manager Curtis Peltz.
Mr. Peltz also noted that, as the latest addition to Sage Timberline Office, Document Management further advances Sage Timberline’s goal of providing a fully integrated, end-to-end software system for the entire building lifecycle, from concept to occupancy.
